Help

The questions we are asked most. If yours is not here, write to us — a person reads it.

How do I use my key?

Install BiblefyMe, open it, and go to Settings → Account → Redeem key. Paste the key in exactly as it appears in your email. It works without a connection and never expires.

I bought it but never got the email

Check your spam folder first — it comes from keys@mail.biblefy.me. If it is not there, write to us with the email address you used at checkout and we will send it again.

I sent a gift to the wrong address

You were sent a copy of the key yourself. Forward that email to the right address — the key is not tied to any address, so it will work.

I have a new phone

If you bought from the App Store or Google Play, use Restore purchases on the activation screen. If you have a key, paste it in again — one key works on your phone, your tablet and the web.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The whole Bible is inside the app, and so is the reading voice. Nothing you do needs a connection except buying.

What happens to what I type into “What’s happening right now?”

It stays on your phone. It is matched to Scripture on the device itself and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

My daily reminder is not arriving

Turn it on in Settings → Reminders and allow notifications when asked. If you declined that prompt before, iOS will not ask again — you will need to enable BiblefyMe under iOS Settings → Notifications.

The voice sounds wrong, or reads too fast

Open Settings → Audio settings — or the ⋮ menu while reading a chapter — and change the voice, the speed, or the background music. Changes apply straight away, mid-chapter.

Can my church get keys for everyone?

Yes. Tell us how many people at biblefy.me/churches and we will sort it out.

How do I delete my information?

Almost everything lives only on your phone — your name, your family’s names, your bookmarks, notes and anything you typed into “What’s happening right now?”. Deleting the app removes all of it, and nothing is kept elsewhere to delete.

Two things do sit on our side, and you can have either removed. Anonymous usage counts — which screens were opened, never what you wrote. You can switch these off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Anonymous usage counts, and you can ask us to delete what was already counted. A web account, if you made one at app.biblefy.me: your email address, profile and unlock status.

To request deletion of either, email hello@biblefy.me with the subject “Delete my data”. We will confirm when it is done. See the privacy policy.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened and which device you are on. We answer every one.
